Experienced Staff Accountant / Senior Staff Accountant

Pay: $35/hr. + DOE

A well-established professional services firm in the Visalia area is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules.
• Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning projects.
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters.
• Collaborate with team members to complete engagements accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with client bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax preparation and accounting principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• CPA, EA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
