Machine Operator
$15.00/Hour | Full-Time | Overtime Available | San Antonio, TX
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company in San Antonio. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a production environment, operating manufacturing equipment, and contributing to a team focused on quality, productivity, and safety.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, or assembly environments and possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and a willingness to learn.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 4:00 AM-4:00 PM
Overtime Available
Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Read and follow process plans, work instructions, and production documentation
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production standards are met
- Identify and report machine malfunctions, maintenance issues, or production concerns
- Inspect products for defects and maintain quality standards
- Stack, label, mark, and package finished products as directed
- Complete labor tickets, production paperwork, and labels accurately
- Maintain production records and documentation
- Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the production process
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Support team members and production goals as needed
Additional Duties
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist machine setup personnel and supervisors when requested
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, or assembly experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Commitment to workplace safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the work area
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
