Salary: $35-$40/hr DOE

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing company in Leominster, MA.  This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing, processing, and packaging equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. This is a Direct Hire position.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Repair and replace motors, conveyors, pumps, switches, controls, and other machine components.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine shop work as needed.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and schematics.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Monitor maintenance parts and supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), workplace safety procedures, and applicable manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.

 

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial machinery.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read equipment diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier items with appropriate assistance

 

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr
