Responsibilities of an Electrician

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Run conduit, PVC pipe, and electrical wiring according to code requirements.
• Install electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose system malfunctions.
• Test electrical systems using meters and other diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work independently or with construction and maintenance teams to complete projects on time.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Operate lifts, power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential electrical work.
• Knowledge of MC cable, conduit bending, and underground PVC installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions when required.
