Inventory Supervisor

Lead Inventory Teams for a Growing Locally Owned Company!

A locally owned Plainfield company is seeking a motivated and dependable Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory counting teams throughout the Chicagoland area. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who enjoys working independently, managing teams, and ensuring inventory projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Pay

• $21.00 per hour
• 30-day performance review with opportunities for wage increases
• Annual performance reviews
• Paid commute time beyond the first hour of travel each way
• Mileage assistance available during training

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Optional weekend work available
• Start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Most shifts completed by 3:00 PM
• Typically 36+ hours per week
• Daily shifts generally range from 6-8 hours depending on project location

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support inventory associates during inventory projects.
• Coordinate inventory counts and ensure accuracy of completed work.
• Use handheld scanners to track and verify inventory.
• Train, coach, and develop inventory team members.
• Communicate with store management and company leadership regarding project progress.
• Resolve issues and ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, team lead, retail, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and technology.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be comfortable traveling throughout the Chicagoland area.
• Strong reliability, accountability, and attendance are essential.
• No background check required.

Advancement & Benefits
