Express is looking for building maintenance worker for a client located in Reading, PA. The company is in need of someone for a temporary basis, but could turn into a long term opportunity!

 

Building Maintenance Worker

Pay: $16/hr

Shift: 1^st shift Monday through Friday (5:30am-1:30pm)

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Worker:

• Sweep, mop and scrub floors, stairs (inside and outside buildings) and other surfaces
• Scrub, strip, wax and polish floors using heavy (industrial type) powered scrubber and buffers
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Steam clean rugs periodically using heavy vacuum cleaner and steam cleaning machine
• Wash window sills, windows and glass in corridor and doors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Building Maintenance Worker:

• At least 1+ years of maintenance experience with solid work history
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Able to work with basic math as well as working in American measurements for weight volume and distance 
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
