A growing manufacturing company in Georgetown, TX is hiring a skilled Process Technician to support plastic injection molding operations, troubleshoot production equipment, and keep manufacturing processes running efficiently.

If you have hands-on experience with injection molding machines, mold changes, robotics, machine setups, or plastics processing, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Set up, start, and monitor plastic injection molding machines.
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, material, and processing issues.
• Respond to equipment alarms and production interruptions.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot industrial robots, temperature controllers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with mold changes, die changes, and machine changeovers.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance repairs.
• Complete process verification, quality checks, and production documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production area.

 

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding or plastics processing preferred.
• Experience with injection molding machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of molds, processing parameters, and manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial robotics, automated machinery, and machine controls.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and correct production or quality issues.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and move materials weigh up to 35 lbs.
• Perform occasionally bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
