Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Register patients and direct them to the appropriate department
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
• Accurately enter patient and insurance information into computer systems
• Maintain patient demographic and registration records
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality
• Follow established registration and insurance verification procedures
• Adapt to changing workloads and patient volumes throughout the day

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of health insurance and insurance verification
• Previous experience in healthcare, patient registration, medical reception, or customer service preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
