Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting operations and support the company's financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, along with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Handle job costing and track project-related expenses.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for the company's tax accountant.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting and other accounting duties as needed.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Experience with payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and job costing.
• Ability to complete financial closing procedures and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting responsibilities.
