Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting Cheese Production and Packaging Associates for a food manufacturing facility in the Tomah, WI area. These positions offer competitive pay, a consistent overnight schedule, and the opportunity to be hired directly by the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, load, and unload production and packaging equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs or operational issues.
• Clean and sanitize machines according to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Replenish packaging materials and supplies throughout production runs.
• Inspect finished products and packaging materials and remove defective items.
• Package, box, stack, and prepare finished cheese products for handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe food production environment.
• Follow production procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation requirements.
• Cross-train in cheese production, food processing, and packaging duties as needed.
• Perform additional manufacturing and production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Dependable, flexible, efficient, and willing to learn multiple production tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable cleaning equipment and working in small or confined spaces when required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, reach, twist, and climb stairs or a 4–6-foot ladder.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds as required.
