Express Employment Professionals in Paris, TN is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a heavy equipment and transportation operation in the Camden, TN area.

A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and dependable.

Duties Include:

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Repair engines, brakes, suspensions, and other components
• Inspect equipment to identify needed repairs
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Maintain service records and repair documentation
• Conduct safety inspections and equipment checks
• Keep the shop and work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have good work history and reliable transportation.

Pay: $22.00/hr.
