Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and dependable Grill Cook for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and cooking food on a commercial grill while maintaining food quality, safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meats, vegetables, and other menu items using a commercial grill.

• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is prepared properly.

• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food quality standards.

• Set up and maintain a clean, organized grill station.

• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.

• Clean grills, cooking equipment, and work areas.

• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous grill cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred.

• Knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety procedures.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work around hot equipment.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
