Position Details
- Position: Business Development Representative
- Location: Morgantown, WV
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
- Compensation: Up to $50,000 annual base salary plus monthly commission opportunities
- Employment Type: Internal Position with Express Employment Professionals
What You'll Do
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for building relationships with local businesses and helping them find workforce solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Visiting local businesses and introducing the services offered by Express Employment Professionals
- Developing new client relationships through networking, cold calling, referrals, and community involvement
- Meeting with business owners and hiring managers to understand their hiring challenges
- Scheduling appointments and conducting in-person sales visits
- Following up with prospects and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with our recruiting team to connect businesses with qualified talent
- Managing your territory and tracking sales activity
- Helping grow our presence throughout the Morgantown area
No Sales Experience? That's Okay!

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, recruiting, marketing, or sales experience is helpful but not required

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Professional appearance and communication style
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the Morgantown area for client visits
- Comfortable working in a community-facing role and spending time outside the office
- Must reside in or near the Morgantown, WV area
