Material Yard Manager

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Material Yard Manager position for an Bryan/College Station company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in the BCS area that have full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Oversee daily material yard and warehouse operations

• Receive incoming shipments and accurately enter inventory into the computer system

• Stock shelves and organize materials in designated locations

• Pull inventory and prepare customer orders accurately

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts

• Use basic math skills to calculate material quantities and measurements

• Operate a forklift safely (training will be provided)

• Sweep and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse

• Take initiative to complete daily tasks without constant supervision

• Follow all company safety procedures

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Strong computer and data-entry skills

• Previous warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred

• Forklift experience is a plus, but training is provided

• Good basic math skills, including measurements and quantity calculations

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift

• Strong commitment to workplace safety
