Water Blaster / Forklift Operator

Bloomington-Normal, IL | $21.50/HR | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Are you looking for a hands-on position with competitive pay and consistent weekday hours? We are seeking a Water Blaster / Forklift Operator to join our team in the Bloomington-Normal area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, operating equipment, and being part of a team that supports a major manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial-grade, high-powered water blasting system (35,000 PSI) to remove dried concrete/paint from forms and equipment.
• Work safely inside a designated water blasting booth.
• Inspect cleaned forms and prepare them for transport.
• Load cleaned forms onto trailers using a sit-down forklift.
• Transport materials to the Rivian facility using a combination truck and trailer.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience desired, but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and high-pressure cleaning systems.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• CDL is a plus, but training may be available for the right candidate.
