Medical Receptionist

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Part-Time Medical Receptionist for a local medical office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication and office skills who enjoys helping patients and is comfortable learning new technology. The office primarily serves patients through telehealth visits, and the schedule offers flexibility once training is complete.

Key Tasks

• Answer incoming phone calls
• Schedule patient appointments
• Send prescription orders to pharmacies
• Accurately document patient information
• Assist patients with questions and provide professional customer service
• Perform general medical reception and office duties
• Learn and utilize office technology and medical software as needed

Key Traits

• Previous medical receptionist experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• General office and computer skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Dependable and professional
• Comfortable working independently
• Experience with CareCloud, Veradigm, or AllScripts is a plus

Schedule & Location

Part-Time

Initial training schedule:

• Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Schedule is flexible once training is complete. Initial training must be completed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Compensation

$22.00 per hour
