FULL-TIME / TEMPORARY
$17.00/hr
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant for a local client in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a temporary opportunity with a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and eager to learn new systems and processes. The position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to support a collaborative team in a fast-paced office setting.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
- Perform data entry and administrative support duties
- Manage Outlook email and calendars
- Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Assist with filing and document management
- Learn and utilize internal company software and applications
- Provide general office support as needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
DRESS CODE:
- Office casual attire
- Long pants
- Sleeved shirts (non-graphic T-shirts acceptable)
- Closed-toe shoes required
