Salary: $28-$33/hr

We are seeking a Field Service Technician for a building materials supplier in Littleton, MA. This role provides onsite residential service and repairs for building materials, primarily windows and doors, while ensuring excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls at customers' homes to diagnose and repair windows, doors, cabinets, and other building materials.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine whether they result from product defects, installation errors, or other causes.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements using hand and power tools.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain repair recommendations, provide estimates, and answer questions.
• Maintain positive customer relationships while addressing service concerns.
• Collect payments for completed service work.
• Maintain service van inventory, coordinate replacement parts, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Communicate service updates and resolutions with internal sales teams.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

 

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of windows and doors
• Comfortable and proficient using hand and power tools.
• Experience with residential construction, carpentry, window and door installation, or building material repairs preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Manufacturer certifications for window and door repairs are a plus.

• Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay: $28–$33/hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in daytime working hours.
• Employment: Direct Hire opportunity.
• Location: Based in Littleton, MA, with travel to customers' homes using a company service van.
