Are you an experienced HR and payroll professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? We are seeking a Part-Time HR Manager to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role offers the opportunity to manage key HR and payroll functions while working with a collaborative leadership team.

Schedule

• Part-time temporary position
• Approximately Tuesday & Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• Some flexibility with scheduling
• Position expected to begin with training in January and continue through approximately mid-July

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll and review timecards using ADP Workforce Now
• Generate payroll and accounting-related reports
• Coordinate employee onboarding and new hire setup
• Process final paychecks and employee separations as needed
• Maintain employee and job-related records
• Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and qualifying life events
• Prepare and distribute electronic documents for employee signatures
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports
• Manage child support orders and wage garnishments
• Provide general HR and administrative support

Qualifications

• Previous HR and payroll experience required
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred
• Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee onboarding
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
