Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Small Engine Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience and can troubleshoot mechanical problems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair small gasoline engines and lawn mower components.

• Service carburetors, fuel systems, spark plugs, ignition systems, and starters.

• Perform oil changes, tune-ups, filter replacements, and routine maintenance.

• Inspect and replace belts, blades, pulleys, bearings, and cables.

• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience repairing lawn mowers or other small engine equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot engine, fuel system, and basic electrical problems.

• Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to read repair manuals and identify replacement parts.

• Experience with riding and zero-turn mowers preferred.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
