Machine Maintenance Technician

Our client, a steel tubing processing center, in Detroit, is seeking an experienced Skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Location: Detroit, MI

 

Pay: $26 Per Hr. Paid Weekly 

 

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mandatory Saturdays as needed

 

Duties: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Inspect, maintain, and repair gearboxes, motors, bearings, drives, and other mechanical components. Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed to support production operations. Conduct high-level equipment servicing, identify potential mechanical failures, and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues. Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble machine components using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Follow preventive maintenance schedules, document completed repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Adhere to all safety procedures and maintenance standards while ensuring equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
