Maintenance Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of facilities, equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to troubleshoot issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC issues

• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition

• Assist with inspections, facility upkeep, and general repairs

• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed

• Install, repair, or replace fixtures, parts, and components

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and understand basic diagrams, manuals, and instructions

• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industrial or warehouse equipment

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs

• Basic computer skills for logging work orders

• Forklift experience (optional, depending on client needs)
