Retail Store Clerk

Schedule: Full-Time | Must Be Available Monday–Saturday

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Retail Store Clerk to provide excellent customer service and support daily retail operations. This position combines customer interaction, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and conducting factory tours. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register, process debit and credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

• Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and complete daily reports and logs.

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities and maintain organized inventory.

• Conduct and host factory tours, providing a welcoming and informative experience for visitors.

• Keep the retail store clean, organized, and visually appealing.

• Provide backup front desk and receptionist support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience and training.

• Previous retail, customer service, inventory, or cash-handling experience is preferred.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and operate a POS system.

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
