JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 Plan assembly procedures, assemble partial or complete assemblies from drawings and specifications to prescribed tolerances, using machine casting, prefabricated parts, sub-assemblies, purchased parts and equipment.  Requires welding, spotwelding, packing, sawing, and filing.  A test will be required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

• Must have blue print reading ability, shop math skills, ability to operate saws, drills, grinders, spot welder, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read measuring instruments.

• Individual must be able to maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
• Ability to distinguish colors when required.
• Physically able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift to 50 lbs.

• Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Adheres to all safety standards and wears PPE properly as required.
• Note: A skills test will be required.
