Pay: $15.00/hr.
Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Fri-Sun)

Job Overview

A local trucking company in Morrison, TN is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support overnight operations. This position is responsible for tracking trucks and trailers, maintaining accurate records, updating load information, and ensuring all transportation data is communicated correctly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can communicate professionally while maintaining accountability when needed.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor truck and trailer movements throughout the shift.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets with accurate load and transportation information.
• Process and manage incoming and outgoing emails.
• Update load information and ensure loads are matched to the correct driver and truck.
• Verify the accuracy of transportation records and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with drivers and team members regarding load updates and status changes.
• Maintain organized documentation and records.
• Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed.
• Support overnight operations by providing timely and accurate information.

Qualifications

• Previous office, administrative, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must work well with others while also being confident and firm when necessary.
• Dependable, professional, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Training Requirements

• Must be available to train during weekdays.
• Training schedule will be flexible and may include both daytime and evening hours.
