Job Description: Commercial Janitor

Position: Commercial Janitor / Cleaning Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Commercial Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of commercial buildings and facilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

• Empty trash cans and replace liners.

• Dust furniture, surfaces, windowsills, and other designated areas.

• Clean glass doors, mirrors, and interior windows as needed.

• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

• Safely handle cleaning products and equipment.

• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently.

• Must follow all workplace safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment:

Work may take place in office buildings, commercial facilities, warehouses, or other designated business locations. Duties and schedules may vary depending on the client's needs.
