Warehouse Order Selector/Forklift Driver

Salary: $21.15/HR

Warehouse Order Selector/Forklift Driver Job Summary:  A Wholesale supplier of Heating and Cooling supplies is looking for a new Warehouse Material Handler to join their thriving team. The work will require the use of forklifts as well as manual lifting, pushing and pulling of heavy equipment.

 

Warehouse Order Selector/Forklift Driver Responsibilities:

 

• Efficiently & accurately Pick orders using a variety of equipment
• Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy in quality of the work
• Follow daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs
• Help to continually organize warehouse
• Decision making within clear guidelines & with support of the fellow team and management
• Read computerized work orders, pick tickets and other details specifically detailed for customer orders
• Use RF scanner
• Ability to work with a computerized ERP system to verify stock availability and inventory accuracy and on line pick sheets
• Sort, move and organize product while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment including but not limited to various styles of forklifts: sit-down, stand up, clamp, Push pull reach, and cherry pickers

Schedule & Pay:

• 2^ndshift - Mon- Fri 5pm-until done generally 9-10/HR shifts But expectations are that the shift is not finished until the entire team is done with the days tasks - generally no weekends and all overtime is mandatory.
• $20.50/HR +.65 with shift differential  

Warehouse Order Selector/Forklift Driver Qualifications:

• Patient work style interested in consistency dealing with repetitive routines
• Follow safety expectations set by company safety policies
• Able to lift 40-80lbs throughout the workday
• High attention to details
• Cooperative & agreeable listener who gets along with others and enjoys being helpful
• Ability to work independently while supporting exceptional teamwork of a larger work group
• Flexibility to work overtime hours as required
• Minimum two yrs experience operating material handling equipment such as sit or standup, sit-down, clamp, reach, cherry picker, heavy off set forklift electric pallet jacks and manual carts
• Strong ability to be self-motivated and flexible
