Express Employment Professionals is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter / Designer for a local company. We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with AutoCAD, drafting, or design experience to create and update technical drawings and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.

• Develop and update blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings according to project specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and functionality.

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

• Make revisions to existing designs based on project changes and production needs.

• Communicate with shop personnel to address design questions and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD, CAD drafting, design, or related engineering experience required.

• Vocational training, technical education, or relevant on-the-job training in AutoCAD or drafting required.

• Ability to read, interpret, and modify technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

• Knowledge of welding processes and fabrication is a plus.
