Production Assistant needed for growing distribution business in Weymouth, MA.
Shift is Monday-Friday, 8:900am-5:00pm. Pay starts at $18/hour - no experience required!

*Accessible by public transporatation

Responsibilities:
• Order Picking & Assembly: Retrieve food items from warehouse shelves, racks, or assembly lines
• Inspection & Quality Control: Check items for damage, leaks, expiration dates, lot codes, and correct counts before packing
• Packing & Sealing: Place products into appropriate boxes, crates, or cartons with proper cushioning, then seal and label them accurately
• Weight & Traceability Verification: Verify product weights and apply accurate shipping labels, lot numbers, and date code
• Palletizing & Staging: Stack finished boxes onto pallets following specific stacking patterns, wrap pallets with stretch film, and stage them in the loading dock area.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene standards (hand-washing, hair restraints, proper outer garments), and allergen protocols. Maintain a clean, organized work station.
