CDL Driver – Waste Management Services

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver for a waste management company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials while following all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport and/or collect waste materials.

• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and customer service requirements.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Properly secure loads and ensure waste materials are transported safely.

• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.

• Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork.

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and supervisors.

• Maintain a clean vehicle and report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.

• Assist with waste collection duties as required by the specific truck and route.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A appropriate for the assigned vehicle.

• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements.

• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.

• Ability to follow directions, manage routes, and work independently.

• Strong attention to safety, reliability, and punctuality.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to perform physical duties as required by the position.
