WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Manager for one of our clients in Sterling, VA. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations for a moving company, ensuring inventory, equipment, and materials are properly organized and handled. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, and comfortable managing warehouse activities and working with a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Coordinate receiving, organizing, storing, and moving materials and equipment
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and daily assignments
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure supplies and equipment are properly organized
• Coordinate with drivers, movers, and internal teams to support daily operations
• Ensure loading and unloading activities are completed safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Identify operational issues and assist with improving warehouse processes

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in moving, logistics, transportation, or a related industry is a plus
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, responsible, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
