1. Typically works in a manufacturing environment producing metal bars, coils, or specialty alloy materials. The operator runs saws and other machinery used to cut and shape metal to meet customer specifications.
   A Machine/Saw Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment such as saws, grinders, straighteners, and other machines to cut and process metal materials. The role involves reading work orders, adjusting machine settings, measuring materials for accuracy, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. Operators also perform minor maintenance, record production data, and assist with material handling and inspection tasks on the production line.
