Express Employment Professionals Delta/ Richmond office is recruiting for a production worker for our client in Richmond, BC. Our client, is one of North America's largest exclusively owned produce distributor. We are seeking candidates to fill 3 positions for food processing and packing. This role will perform routine tasks in a very fast-paced processing plant.

Job description:

•  Manual cutting, trimming of vegetables with hand knife
• Grading and packaging of vegetables
• Stacking of boxes up to 20 lbs/ box
• Light cleaning

Desirable candidates are able to as part of a team, with limited supervision, and must be highly organized and detail oriented.

Requirements:
 Great hand-eye coordination and speed
 Must have steel toe work boots
 Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 20lbs.
 Must have flexible availability
 Able to work in a cold environment (3 Degrees)

Position offers:
40 hours a week, must be available to work weekends   (4 week days and 1 weekend)
Shifts are: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm / 9:30 am to 6:00 pm / 10:30 to 7:00 pm – OT hours are possible
Transit accessible
This is a permanent position with potential to end up direct hire by our client
