Salary: $110,000-$125,000 DOE
The ideal candidate possesses deep experience navigating the strict compliance, material traceability, and quality standards inherent to the A&D manufacturing sector. You will ensure raw materials, hardware, and outside processing services are secured efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management
Strategic Sourcing: Manage the end-to-end purchasing of raw materials (titanium, aluminum, specialty alloys), hardware, tooling, and shop supplies.
Outside Processing (O&P): Coordinate and follow up heavily with vendors providing external services like non-destructive testing (NDT), plating, painting, and heat treating.
Compliance & Traceability: Ensure all incoming materials and services include complete documentation (e.g., Mill Test Reports, Certificates of Conformance) to meet AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
Vendor Performance:

Evaluate, onboard, and hold vendors accountable for on-time delivery, pricing competitive advantages, and quality metrics.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: 3–5+ years of purchasing experience specifically within an ITAR-registered, A&D machine shop or precision manufacturing environment.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing routers, and bill of materials (BOMs).
Compliance Knowledge: Proven familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR regulations, and strict material traceability requirements.
