Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced IT Director for a direct-hire opportunity with an established organization in the Carrollton, GA area.

The IT Director will oversee daily IT operations, lead technology initiatives, manage cybersecurity and infrastructure, and provide strategic direction to support the organization's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT department, including supervising, developing, and evaluating team members.
• Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and technical support.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency and security.
• Direct cybersecurity initiatives, including threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage network security, data protection, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning.
• Oversee technology projects, including planning, implementation, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Develop and manage the department's annual budget and technology expenditures.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and infrastructure.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners.
• Oversee identity and access management, security monitoring, and physical access control systems.
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify technology needs and support strategic objectives.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience, including systems, networks, servers, or infrastructure management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising IT personnel and managing technology projects, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, system administration, and disaster recovery.
• Experience developing IT policies, managing budgets, and working with technology vendors.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks and security best practices preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
