Field Service Engineer (Machine Tool & Automation)

Full-Time | Start Date: November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues.
• Support PLC-controlled systems, motor controls, VFDs, safety relays, and machine automation.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks, IP connectivity, PCs, and Ethernet devices.
• Perform basic mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and gas system maintenance.
• Maintain water purification and filtration systems.
• Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, applications, sales, and service teams to resolve technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with experience in at least three of the following areas:

• Electrical systems and industrial controls
• PLCs, automation, and motor controls
• CNC machinery and machine tools
• Industrial networking and PC troubleshooting
• Mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
• Hydraulic systems
• Lasers, optics, or precision manufacturing equipment

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in machine tools, automation, industrial maintenance, or field service.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
