Warehouse Associate (Forklift, Inventory, Shipping & Receiving)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials.
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and routine inventory audits.
  • Organize warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly labeled.
  • Track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems as needed.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and work orders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

Work Environment

  • Indoor warehouse setting with occasional outdoor loading and unloading activities.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and adherence to safety standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
  • Shipping and receiving knowledge.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: Based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime as needed
