Job Responsibilities

• Perform Stick, MIG, and Flux-Core welding on metal components used in precast manufacturing.
• Weld and assemble metal parts according to project specifications.
• Read measurements and follow instructions to ensure accurate, quality welds.
• Prepare metal surfaces and materials before welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Work alongside production team members to meet daily production goals.

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing facility specializing in precast concrete products.
• Hands-on work involving metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Work may involve standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting materials.
• Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise, metal dust, welding fumes, heat, and sparks.
• Requires working around machinery, metal materials, and other production equipment.
• Steel-toe boots, safety glasses, welding protection, and other required PPE must be worn as appropriate.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• On-site testing during interview to confirm skill level 
• Previous experience with Stick, MIG, and Flux-Core welding required.
• Ability to produce quality welds and follow welding instructions.
• Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and workplace safety practices.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
