Tax Intern 

Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Tax Intern to join a local public accounting firm in Omaha, NE! Position Details:

• Type: Seasonal Internship

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday during Tax Season

• Location: Omaha, NE

• Pay/Salary: $18-20/hour DOE

Job Duties:

• Assist with the preparation of individual income tax returns.

• Organize and review client tax documents for completeness and accuracy.

• Enter and verify tax information in tax preparation software.

• Prepare workpapers, supporting schedules, and maintain filing documentation.

• Help track return statuses, outstanding information requests, and filing deadlines.

• Provide general administrative support to the tax team during the busy season.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and financial information.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Coursework in individual or business taxation preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.

• Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting software.

• Professional communication skills and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
