Equipment Service Mechanic

Located in Port St. Lucie, FL

Salary: $25/Hr.-$35/Hr.

We are currently hiring for the position of Equipment Service Mechanic. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in mechanical, diesel, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, welding and general equipment maintenance to join our team.

Industrial and Marine Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform repair and maintenance services for all company mobile equipment, including diesel and hydraulics on construction and boatyard equipment. Manage a log of all service work completed.
• Maintenance of electrical distribution equipment such as power pedestals, transformers, power cords, extensions, and related components.
• Fabricate, operate, and maintain cooling service equipment, including cooling towers, portable AC systems, and related machinery.
• Maintain and repair pressure washers and pump systems, water distribution system components, and pump-out equipment.
• Adhere to company policies related to employment, safety, environmental protection, security, and overall facility maintenance.
• Collaborate with other employees to fulfill company operational requirements and assist with yard work as needed.
• Be available for extended hours during hurricane threats to support increased company operations.
• Interact with customers courteously to foster positive relationships and promote a friendly atmosphere.
• Assist management with general company operations, including facility cleaning and maintenance, landscaping, and special projects. Provide recommendations for parts, material, and other equipment purchases.
• Adhere to company operational policies and best practices, participate in safety and environmental training, and strive to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience and proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and welding work.
• Possession of personal tools required for the position.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.

Compensation:

 

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
