Schedule:

• Tuesday, October 13, 2026: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Thursday, October 15, 2026: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable, professional, and experienced security personnel to assist with security and crowd management for an upcoming job fair event. This is a temporary, two-day assignment for individuals with prior Security Guard and/or Crossing Guard experience who can help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for job fair attendees, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor event entrances and exits to help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Direct pedestrian traffic and assist with crowd flow during attendee arrival and departure.
• Monitor event areas for potential safety concerns, suspicious activity, or disruptive behavior.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to attendees as needed.
• Help enforce event safety procedures and access guidelines.
• Respond professionally to incidents and report concerns promptly to event management.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard and/or Crossing Guard is required.
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous throughout the event.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both scheduled days.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as needed.

Compensation and Assignment Details

• Pay: $20.00 per hour.
• Duration: Tuesday and Thursday only.
• Total assignment: Two scheduled workdays.
• Candidates must be available to work both shifts.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, professional, and comfortable managing pedestrian traffic and maintaining a safe environment at a busy public event. Previous security or crossing guard experience is essential.
