Network Support Technician

Location: Harrison County, WV | On-Site, Full-Time
Pay: $60,000–$65,000 annually

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Network Support Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve network infrastructure for a growing organization. This hands-on role supports network performance, security, connectivity, and reliability across wired and wireless environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Monitor network performance, apply updates, and support infrastructure upgrades.

• Maintain network security, access controls, and firewall configurations.

• Document network configurations, equipment, and troubleshooting solutions.

• Coordinate with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical issues.

• Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance and emergency support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in network support, administration, or IT infrastructure.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security.

• Experience supporting enterprise network equipment and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred: CCNA
