Are you experienced in construction, concrete work, or farm operations? We're hiring a Construction Laborer to support commercial and industrial concrete projects in the Menomonie area. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and brings a strong work ethic to the job every day.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Load and unload materials
- Assist with setting concrete forms
- Support concrete crews with raking, shoveling, and basic equipment tending
- Follow directions from experienced construction professionals
- Work outdoors in changing conditions
- Travel to job sites as needed
This position offers the opportunity to learn specialized commercial and industrial concrete construction while working alongside an experienced team.
What We're Looking For
Preferred Experience
- Concrete construction experience
- Concrete finisher experience
- Construction labor experience
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of full-time construction experience OR strong farm experience with equipment operation, repairs, and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"
- Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and speed squares
- Valid driver's license with no serious driving infractions within the past three years
- Ability to work outdoors and adjust to varying start times when projects require it

- Start times may be as early as 5:00 AM depending on project requirements
- Typically 8-hour shifts; hours may vary based on project needs, weather, and job progress
- Mostly local work with occasional travel opportunities
- Physical, outdoor work environment
- Team members focus on reaching a productive stopping point each day, which may occasionally result in shorter or longer workdays
Transferable Experience Welcome
Candidates with backgrounds in construction, construction labor, concrete, carpentry, general labor, heavy equipment operation, welding, forklift operation, farming, or other skilled trades are encouraged to apply. Experience operating equipment, repairing machinery, working with tools, or performing physical outdoor work may transfer well into this role.
