Field Service Technician

Location: Cedar City, UT
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join our team. This position involves traveling to customer locations to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain automated process equipment and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have plumbing experience, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and be able to read schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret plumbing flow diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Assemble, repair, and modify equipment using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical and plumbing-related issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide on-site support.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the United States as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing, installation, maintenance, or field service experience preferred.
• Understanding of plumbing flow systems and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able and willing to travel extensively, including flying to customer locations.
• Must be eligible to rent a vehicle when traveling on company business.

Travel & Compensation

• Extensive travel is required.
• All travel expenses, including airfare, rental cars, hotels, and business-related expenses, are paid by the company.
• Field Technicians receive an additional $3.00 per hour for all travel hours worked.
• Overtime travel hours are paid an additional $4.50 per hour.
