Quality Inspector I | 1st Shift, Mon–Fri | Pay DOE

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in getting things exactly right? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Quality Inspector I.

In this role, you’ll inspect materials and products using gauges, scales, and other measuring tools, flag anything that doesn’t meet spec, and keep accurate records, all on a Monday–Friday day shift that keeps your evenings and weekends free. No inspection experience? No problem. If you’re detail-oriented and ready to learn, this is a great way to start a career in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspect raw materials and products visually and with gauges, scales, and other measuring tools, following work instructions.
2. Identify and segregate non-conforming parts or material.
3. Complete inspection documentation and enter results into the company database.
4. Perform final inspections to reconcile outgoing shipments.
5. Help identify the causes of non-conformance when issues come up.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Ability to read and write English and do basic math.
4. Basic computer skills for data entry, and the ability to learn measuring tools like tape measures, scales, and gauges.
5. Preferred: QA-related college courses or certificates, experience with measuring instruments, and prior quality inspection experience.

Why Someone Would Want This Job

1. Entry-level friendly: No prior inspection experience is required. If you’re detail-oriented and willing to learn, they’ll teach you the tools.
2. Great schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, so evenings and weekends stay free.
3. Pay that rewards experience: Pay is based on experience, so QA certificates or inspection experience can earn a higher starting rate.
4. Career launchpad: As a level I role, it’s a first step into quality assurance, with a natural path to Quality Inspector II, QA technician, or quality lead roles.
