Applications Engineering Technician

Salary: $20.50/hr

Job Summary:

Express Employment of St. Croix Falls has partnered with a company in Clear Lake who currently has an opening for an Applications Engineering Technician. In this position you will be helping support engineering runs, customer processes, and product production. Hours for this position are 8:00a to 4:00p Mon-Fri and starting pay is $20.50/hr.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma is required.
• 2 + years of related work experience or one year certificate from a college or technical school with no work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to use precision measuring and laboratory instruments such as calipers, scales and micrometers.
• Experience working with Microsoft office products, Lotus Notes, and other computer applications.

Essential Job Functions:

• Initiate DCR & NCMR’s as needed.
• Approve Certificates of Compliance.
• Answer production employee questions related to customer processes and product.
• Verify coating thickness on lot travelers.
• Develop new masking and demasking methods
• Train production employees to new and current processes and practices and develop positive relationships.
