Position Overview

Our client, a fire restoration company in Sandy, is looking for a dependable and professional Lead Contents Inventory Specialist to join their team. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

The Lead Contents Inventory Specialist will help lead a team through morning assignments and the full lifecycle of restoration jobs. This individual will need strong people skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and customers.

Our first choice is a candidate with previous experience in the restoration or contents industry. However, we are also looking for someone who is physically capable, dependable, organized, and has the leadership qualities and technical skills needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team during morning assignments and throughout the job lifecycle
• Help coordinate daily workload and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and professionally
• Inventory, document, pack, move, organize, and handle customers' contents as part of the restoration process
• Accurately document contents, job details, and work performed using a tablet
• Maintain thorough and professional written documentation throughout each job
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other members of the restoration team
• Provide leadership and direction while maintaining a positive and professional team environment
• Follow established procedures and safety standards
• Ensure contents are handled carefully, accurately, and respectfully
• Use technology and tablet-based systems to complete documentation and job tracking
• Identify issues during the job and communicate them appropriately to management
• Maintain professionalism in both verbal and written communication

Requirements

• Previous experience in fire, water, restoration, contents, moving, cleaning, or a related industry is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong people skills
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Comfortable using a tablet and learning new technology
• Ability to consistently perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and moving contents
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while providing direction and leadership
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to manage responsibilities throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and treat customers' belongings with care and respect
• Must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
