Day Shift
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Seed Cleaning Facility & Farm Manager to help coordinate daily operations at an established agricultural business in Sheridan, Oregon.
This position will work closely with company leadership to oversee daily activities, coordinate employee schedules, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Our operation includes both a seed cleaning facility and agricultural farmland, with this position primarily focused on coordinating seed cleaning and farming operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily work assignments and schedules for employees in the seed cleaning facility and on the farm.
- Help oversee seed cleaning operations to maintain productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate farming activities, equipment needs, and seasonal work priorities.
- Communicate daily expectations and provide direction to employees.
- Monitor workflow, identify potential delays, and help resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Assist with hands-on work and operational tasks as needed.
- Work closely with company leadership to ensure daily priorities are completed successfully.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in agriculture, farming, seed processing, or a related industry.
- Previous experience coordinating employees, work schedules, crews, or daily operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing seasonal demands.
- Comfortable working in both agricultural facilities and outdoor farm environments.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to lead by example.
- Spanish-speaking ability strongly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with agricultural equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
