Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced, results-driven Director/Administrator to lead and oversee all aspects of their home care operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional client care, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for daily home care operations.
  • Establish, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business success.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and service-focused culture.
  • Lead office staff through clear communication, coaching, and performance management.

Staff Management & Development

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain top-performing office and caregiving staff.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and development planning.
  • Address employee relations matters, including coaching, corrective action, and terminations when necessary.
  • Support workforce engagement, retention initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing home care operations.
  • Maintain all licensure, certification, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and service quality through regular follow-up and quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client and employee information.

Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and expense management.
  • Manage billing, client invoicing, payroll processes, and revenue optimization.
  • Analyze operational performance and implement strategies to improve profitability while maintaining service excellence.
  • Prepare management reports and operational metrics.

Business Development & Community Relations

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth through networking, outreach, and strategic partnerships.
  • Promote the organization's reputation through exceptional client service and community engagement.

Client & Caregiver Relations

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers through proactive communication.
  • Resolve concerns and service issues professionally and promptly.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and after-hours situations as needed.
  • Ensure an exceptional client and caregiver experience at every interaction.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience, preferably within the home care, healthcare, or senior care industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of home care regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with budgeting, payroll, invoicing, and financial oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling or healthcare management software.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
