Our client in Chardon, OH is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in learning the specialized craft of manufacturing diamond tooling. No prior industry experience is required. We provide hands-on training and will teach you how to manufacture single crystal diamond tools from start to finish in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Rough cut diamonds to specific geometries and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and work instructions
• Set up tooling and prepare equipment for production jobs
• Inspect angles, dimensions, and finishes using microscopes and optical comparators
• Perform polishing, lapping, and precision finishing processes
• Use measuring equipment to verify quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow quality and safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math and geometry skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to stay focused on repetitive precision tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in any of the following is helpful but not required:

• Manual machining
• Woodworking
• Precision assembly
• Manufacturing or production environments
• Working with small, detailed components
